This Thanksgiving Jeff and I reflected on our most important blessing: Taylor is home with us and is healthy and growing. We celebrated the day at home with each other. It was quite a feast. And I’m happy to report that Taylor tried sweet potatoes for the first time on Thanksgiving. She ate them like a champ. :)
Taylor had a great first Halloween. We picked pumpkins for the porch and dressed our little pumpkin up as a pumpkin for Halloween. Here are a few pictures!
In October Jeff celebrated his 5 year college reunion at our alma mater, Westmont College – so the Hunt family headed to the west coast and Taylor got to experience her first airplane flight! If you don’t count throwing up on the plane twice – Taylor did a great job on the flights. :)
Santa Barbara was wonderful. It was great to see old friends and to take Taylor to the beach for the first time.
We even made it down to Hemet to see my family for a few days before heading back to DC.
All in all we had a great time seeing family and friends. Can’t wait to see you all again!

In early October Taylor was baptized at our home church, Vienna Presbyterian Church. It’s a day Jeff and I dreamed about while Taylor was in the NICU. We are so grateful that Jeff’s family was able to fly into DC to be with us and for all our dear friends who shared the special day with us. Here are a few pictures to memorialize the baptism.
