At the beginning of June, Jeff and I attended at alumni event for Westmont College, our alma mater, here in DC. We had a picnic dinner at the Netherlands Carillon and listened to a bell concert. Taylor had an awesome time crawling around in the grass and walking with Dad. Here are a few of our favorite shots from the event.

In May, Taylor and I got the opportunity to visit one of our very good friends at the Capitol. Not only did we get to hang with our friend in the Nation’s Capitol, but we were treated to VIP treatment! Taylor had a fun time checking out the Capitol Building and she especially enjoyed seeing Ms. Lanier. Thanks for a great afternoon and lots of good memories, Lanier!

Taylor has been growing up a lot these last few months. She’s got 8 teeth now, is cruising around on furniture easily, hanging with her friends on play dates, and has even taken her first few steps. We are so blessed to be able to watch her grow and develop. Here are a few shots capturing our big girl in action!

In April we headed to the White House for the Spring Garden tour. It was Taylor’s trip to the White House and I think it’s safe to say that she didn’t quite understand what was so important about the complex. She was more interested in napping as a matter of fact. Thankfully she did cooperate with us so we could get a few shots of her on the grounds. After touring the White House garden we set out for Taylor’s first Nationals Baseball game. Jeff loved introducing her to the all American pass time. And I think Taylor had a good time too. Here are a few shots from our adventures.
