Jeff, Taylor, Joshua, and I packed up at the end of July and headed to Colorado for some old fashioned R&R with his family- and we all had a great time. Taylor played at the pool a lot! Joshua met his Great Grandpa Hunt for the first time. Jeff and I went hiking, white water rafting at Noah’s Ark, took a drive in the Chevy Bel Air, and even went on a trial ride in Beaver Creek. It was a week full of fun and family. Thanks to the Hunts for being such gracious hosts! Love you guys. :)

This summer has been such a fun time for Taylor. As a mommy to a toddler, things are pretty much always chaotic, but it has been such a joy to see Taylor’s personality blossom and to watch her experience the world for the first time. Here are some of the fun moments that were were able to catch on film this summer.

Baby Joshua is just the sweetest little baby. He sleeps well. Only cries when he is hungry or has to burp. And best of all he loves to cuddle!

Well here it is: our first family photo at home! I love my family. :)
So before we brought Joshua home from the hosptial we got a few professional photographs taken. His little face just makes my heart melt. I love him.
During the three weeks between finishing law school and giving birth to Joshua, Jeff and I were very busy getting the house ready for little man Hunt! That included moving Taylor to a new room, painting her new room, and getting the nursery set up for a baby boy. Below are a few shots of the finished product! :)
Our little man, Joshua Grant Hunt, was born June 10, 2010 at 8:05 am. He weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce and was 21 inches long. Here are some of his very first pictures!

My girlfriends threw a fabulous baby shower for Joshua in early June- about a week before the scheduled c-section. Everyone had a great time- and I especially loved being able to celebrate my little guy with everyone. Thanks to all who were there and a special thank you to the women who couldn’t make it but contributed to the joint gift – our double stroller is awesome and I have no idea how I would manage without it!
